Do my field crew need a paid seat?
No. Crew logins are free on every plan. They see only their assigned jobs, the client, directions, and notes, never your money.
Do I have to rebuild my website?
No. Install the plugin, place a shortcode, done.
Will it clash with my theme or caching plugin?
No. Forms render server-side, and submissions use the WordPress REST API.
How do payments work?
Card payments are powered by Stripe. You connect your own Stripe account through their hosted onboarding, and money goes straight to your bank at standard card fees with no markup from us. HoundBell never touches or stores card numbers.
Can I send recurring invoices?
Yes. Set an invoice to repeat weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly and it clones and emails itself automatically until you stop it. You can also duplicate any invoice for repeat work.
Can clients book appointments from my website?
Yes. Add a date field to any form and it renders as a booking calendar that shows only your real availability. Requests wait for your confirmation, both sides get a reminder about an hour before, and your Google or Apple calendar stays in sync.
Do I need a separate e-signature tool for contracts?
No. Build a service agreement from a template for your trade and your client signs by typing their legal name on their phone. The signer’s name, exact time, IP address and device are captured in a locked audit trail, and one click turns the signed agreement into an invoice.
Will HoundBell ask my customers for reviews?
Only if you want it to. Save your Google review link once and a polite request goes out a couple of hours after an invoice is paid or a booking finishes. Each client is asked at most once a year.
How will I know the moment something happens?
You get an email and a phone push when a lead arrives, a quote is answered, an agreement is signed, or a payment lands. Your client gets branded confirmations and receipts in their inbox at every step.
Do my clients need an account?
No. Quotes and invoices open from a secure link, so a client can read a quote and accept it, or pay an invoice, without signing up for anything.
Is my data safe?
Your admin password is never stored. Pairing is one time and revocable, all traffic between your site and the app is signed, and you can export your data at any time.
