Pets on the client

Where: the Pets group on a client’s card. It shows for dog training, mobile pet, pet grooming and pet waste businesses.

Open a client and press Add a pet. Give the pet a name. Add the breed, the year it was born, its weight and a note for the crew if you like (“Shy at first. Loves tennis balls.”). Under Shots and when they are due you get rabies, DHPP and bordetella with a date box each; press Another shot for anything else. Press Add pet. To add a photo, tap the circle next to the pet’s name and pick a picture from your phone or computer.

What happens next:

  • When you put a job on the calendar for this client, the booking asks Which pet? if they have more than one. Pick one and the job knows who it is for.
  • Your crew sees the pet’s name, breed and notes on their job card under Getting in. If a shot is past due, a red line says so and tells them to ask before they start.
  • A shot due in the next 30 days shows on your Daily Brief as “Max’s rabies is due Oct 20”, in the app and in the morning email. Tap it to open the client.

Shots are dates you keep, not medical records. HoundBell never tells the client anything about them; it only reminds you.
