Returning customers
When someone who is already in your leads submits your website form or booking page again, HoundBell recognizes them by their email or phone number and does not create a duplicate. Their existing card, with all its quotes, invoices, notes, and deal history, receives the new request instead:
- The Submission block updates to their new request, and the previous one moves into Past submissions right below it. Contact details like address and birthday carry forward.
- A 🔁 note records that they came back, and the lead gets a returning tag.
- If their previous deal was finished, the card re-enters your pipeline at the first stage as a fresh deal for the new service. The old deal’s revenue stays exactly where it was, in Deal history.
- If they are still an open deal, the new service is added to their service list.

So the deck remodel you won in June and the roof they ask about in September live on one card: two entries in Deal history, revenue counted in the right months, one relationship.
