Zoom video calls in HoundBell

Rolling out now: this integration is finishing Zoom’s marketplace approval. The Connect Zoom button goes live for every account the moment Zoom signs off, expected within a few weeks. Everything below describes exactly how it will work on your account.

Connect your Zoom account once and your confirmed bookings can carry a real Zoom meeting: the join button rides the confirmation email and every reminder, for your client and your team.

Add the integration

1. In HoundBell, go to Branding and find the Zoom video calls card (just below Booking hours).
2. Click Connect Zoom. You’ll be taken to Zoom’s own authorization page; sign in to your Zoom account if asked and click Allow.
3. You’ll land back in HoundBell with the card showing Connected and your Zoom email. That’s the whole setup.

Use it

• Per booking: when creating or editing a booking, set Where to Virtual (Zoom). The moment the booking is confirmed, the meeting is created on your Zoom account and the join link is attached.
• Automatically: tick “Automatically add a Zoom meeting to every confirmed booking with a set time” on the Zoom card and save. Every timed booking you confirm gets a meeting, no clicks.
• On an existing booking: open any confirmed booking on the Calendar and click Add a Zoom link.

Your client receives the Join Zoom Meeting button in their confirmation email, the hour-before reminder, and the 15-minute heads-up. You and any assigned team members get the same link in your copies.

Remove the integration

• In HoundBell: Branding → Zoom card → Disconnect. New bookings stop getting meeting links immediately.
• Or from Zoom’s side: sign in at marketplace.zoom.us → Manage → Added Apps → find HoundBell → Remove. Zoom notifies us and we delete your stored connection immediately.

Either way, existing meetings on your Zoom account are untouched, and HoundBell never reads your meeting content, recordings, or participants.
