Plans, billing, and your free trial

Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial with every feature unlocked, no credit card needed. A banner shows how many days you have left. When the trial ends, your data stays exactly where it is; the app simply asks you to pick a plan before you continue.

The Billing page (in the sidebar, owners only) is where everything happens:

• Pick your plan: Starter ($49/month), Team ($99/month), or Agency ($199/month), each with an annual option that gives you 2 months free. Checkout happens on a secure Stripe page; we never see your card number.
• Manage billing: once subscribed, this button opens your Stripe billing portal for card updates, invoices, plan changes, and cancellation. Canceling stops future charges and your plan runs until the end of the period you paid for.
• Founding Member: the first 100 paying customers are marked Founding Members and keep their price for life, even when prices go up later.
• What the plans limit: Starter is 1 business and 3 seats. Team is 1 business and 15 seats, and adds crews with the Team Assignments board and printable crew sheets, time off tracking, and webhooks (and SMS when it arrives). Agency is up to 5 businesses with 15 seats each. Leads, forms, quotes, contracts, invoices, and bookings are unlimited on every plan; nothing you capture or send is ever metered.
• Additional businesses (Agency): Agency includes 5 businesses. Need more? The Billing page has an Additional businesses selector: $29/month each ($290/year on annual billing), prorated onto your existing subscription the moment you save, and your new limit is live immediately.
• No HoundBell branding (Agency): on the Agency plan, the “Powered by HoundBell” footer disappears from your booking pages automatically. Your clients see only your brand. (Trials, Starter, and Team show the badge.)
• The 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: if HoundBell isn’t for you, tell us within 30 days of your first payment and we refund it. No questions, no forms, no hard feelings.

If a payment fails, nothing locks immediately: Stripe retries the card and the app shows a warning so you can update it in Manage billing. Full plan pricing lives on the pricing page.
