My import will not upload

The file must be a .csv. In Excel or Google Sheets: File, then Save as CSV. (Excel .xlsx files must be saved as CSV first.)
Limits: 2MB and 1,000 rows per import. Split bigger lists into parts.
“That file needs a header row plus at least one lead row”: the first line of the file must be column names.
Two columns mapped to the same field (for example two Name columns): change one in the mapping step.
