Speak the job, get the quote

The fastest way to quote a job you just walked: on any lead’s card (Quotes section) or on the Quotes tab, click Speak the job. Hold the mic button and describe the job out loud, the way you’d tell a coworker — “three bed two bath, deep clean, inside the oven and fridge, they want it before the 28th, probably four hours with two of us.“ Lift your finger when you’re done, or type it instead if you’d rather.

Click Draft the quote. HoundBell reads it back against your own services and prices — matching what you actually charge, never inventing a number — and hands you an itemized draft: line items, a plain-English note to the client, and a list of anything it had to assume (crew size, timing, a service that isn’t on your price list yet). Any line without a price on file shows highlighted in amber so you know to fill it in before sending.

Review and edit anything — descriptions, quantities, prices, the client note — then click Create quote. It opens in the normal quote editor, ready to send exactly like one you built by hand. Not happy with the draft? Start over and describe it again.

Only the transcript leaves your phone; the audio itself is never recorded or uploaded anywhere. Every plan gets 200 voice quotes a month per business, which resets on the first of the month — plenty for daily use, with a guardrail so nothing runs away.
