Edit one visit or the whole series
Any weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly booking is a series. Open one of its visits (from the calendar, or from the booking window) and change something — the time, who’s assigned, anything — then save. HoundBell asks:
- This visit only: moves or skips just that one date. Every other visit in the series keeps its original time, crew, and notes. Use this for a one-off “can we do 2pm instead of 1pm this Tuesday“ without touching the standing appointment.
- This and all future visits: applies your change from that date forward. Past visits are untouched; the series keeps repeating on its usual schedule from then on with the new details.
A moved visit shows up on the calendar on its new date, with a small note that it was moved. The original date it would have landed on stays empty (or shows the next series visit, if it’s a different day). This works the same way whether the trade is cleaning, lawn care, pest control, HVAC maintenance, or anything else that repeats on a schedule.
One thing this does not do: marking a visit Done from the field app never closes out future visits. Each visit is completed on its own — finishing this Tuesday’s clean has no effect on next Tuesday’s.
